Italian Fest

Yesterday was the third annual Italian Fest in Carlsbad. I'm not Italian myself but it was great fun. Lot's of great music and food. And the people were all very nice. I was a vendor for the day. I did ok considering nothing I sell is Italian themed. I made a couple hundred dollars and got a few custom orders. There was a lady that came through my booth and told me that she was closing her upscale clothing store and she would sell me her name brand jeans for $3-$5.00 a pair. I sometimes pay that at thrift stores for used generic jeans. I'm going to meet up with her this week. I hope it's not too good to be true and they end up being mom jeans with front butt.

I now have to get started on sewing and crocheting more bags to get ready for another fest in August. I'm really enjoying the bigger shows rather than the weekly markets. It just seems less like work and more like play. Well I suppose I should go jump in the pool with the kids and have some play time before I disappear into my craft room for the next couple of hours.
